Salary: $88,000 - 128,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 5 years of testing experience with LIMS, preferably in a laboratory information management environment.
• We need at least 5 years of experience testing HIE, HL7, and HIS interfaces and integrations.
• We need at least 5 years of experience testing EHR/EMR interfaces and integrations.
• We need at least 5 years of experience testing healthcare management applications.
• We need at least 5 years of experience testing medical patient portals, which is preferred.
• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related scientific discipline.
• We need hands-on experience with manual testing, report validation, SQL databases, test data creation and setup, integration testing, and HL7.
• We need familiarity with clinical data exchange standards such as HL7, CDA, and FHIR.
• We need experience creating automated test tools.
• We value candidates who can work independently, adapt to agile delivery, and communicate effectively with both business users and technical teams.

• We will rely on you to design and execute test cases for ETOR ordering, batching, uploads, results, PDFs, and demographics across all relevant combinations.
• We will expect you to validate that accessions move correctly from ETOR into StarLIMS and that results are accurately reflected end to end.
• We will need you to collaborate with lab subject matter experts to enter results, approve runs, and release accessions.
• We will have you verify HL7 messages in LIMS against the corresponding PDF reports.
• We will expect you to document test cases, scenarios, defects, and outcomes using our templates and repositories.
• You will perform integration, reporting, user acceptance, load and performance, regression, security, and re-testing activities.
• We will expect you to support agile sprint testing, continuous integration, and automated regression efforts throughout the development lifecycle.
• You will create test approaches, positive and negative scenarios, test data beds, and moderately complex SQL queries.
• We will have you maintain accurate test records, update JIRA or ALM daily, and provide periodic status reporting.
• You will deploy and support software in UAT, SQA, and pre-production environments and help certify releases for the next stage or production.
• We will expect you to coordinate defect resolution, retesting, and handoffs with analysts, developers, SMEs, and leadership.
• You may also provide guidance to other testing specialists and assist with requirements gathering and acceptance criteria.

We are offering a 6-12+ month opportunity with the possibility of extension for an HL7 Tester / Sr Test Specialist focused on ETOR in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the COVID period, the role may be performed remotely, but once restrictions are lifted, we require full-time onsite work Monday through Friday during normal business hours in Raleigh with no exceptions. This role is centered on healthcare systems testing, laboratory workflow validation, and end-to-end quality assurance for integrations, reports, and user acceptance support in a fast-paced agile environment.
