About the Role

Tatum Management Group is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and growth-focused E-Commerce Manager to oversee and optimize a portfolio of online stores and brands.

This is a multi-store position . The E-Commerce Manager will own the day-to-day performance, merchandising, optimization, and continued growth of multiple e-commerce properties across our portfolio.

The ideal candidate understands that e-commerce is more than maintaining a website. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, improve conversion rates, launch products, analyze customer behavior, coordinate promotions, solve problems quickly, and continuously improve the online shopping experience.

We also want someone who understands how AI is changing e-commerce and is comfortable using modern AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, personalization, content, automation, customer experience, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Store E-Commerce Management

• Manage the day-to-day operations and performance of multiple e-commerce stores and brands
• Maintain product listings, collections, pricing, promotions, inventory visibility, and merchandising
• Coordinate product launches, seasonal campaigns, bundles, discounts, and special offers
• Ensure all stores remain accurate, functional, visually consistent, and optimized for sales
• Identify and resolve website, checkout, product, integration, and customer-experience issues
• Coordinate with internal teams, developers, designers, fulfillment, marketing, and outside vendors as needed

Growth & Conversion Optimization

• Continuously improve conversion rates, average order value, customer retention, and overall revenue
• Review customer behavior and identify opportunities to improve the shopping experience
• Develop and execute A/B tests for landing pages, product pages, offers, checkout flows, and merchandising
• Improve upsells, cross-sells, bundles, subscriptions, and other revenue-driving opportunities
• Monitor abandoned carts, customer journeys, site performance, and conversion funnels
• Recommend changes based on data rather than assumptions

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and report key e-commerce KPIs across each store
• Monitor revenue, conversion rate, average order value, traffic, repeat purchase rate, product performance, and other key metrics
• Build clear reports showing what is working, what is not, and what actions should be taken
• Identify trends and opportunities across brands
• Work with leadership to establish growth targets and performance goals

AI, Automation & Technology

• Use AI-powered tools to improve e-commerce operations, productivity, and decision-making
• Explore AI applications for merchandising, product recommendations, customer segmentation, reporting, forecasting, content, and customer experience
• Identify repetitive processes that can be automated
• Stay current on emerging AI, e-commerce, and automation technologies
• Work with our internal AI and systems team to identify opportunities to improve workflows and scale operations
• Be comfortable testing new technology rather than relying solely on traditional e-commerce processes

Marketing & Customer Experience

• Coordinate closely with the marketing team on email, SMS, advertising, promotions, landing pages, and product campaigns
• Ensure marketing campaigns have properly built and optimized e-commerce destinations
• Help develop strategies for increasing repeat customers and customer lifetime value
• Monitor customer feedback and use it to improve the online shopping experience
• Ensure brand standards remain consistent across each store

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on e-commerce management experience
• Experience managing multiple online stores, brands, or product lines strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Shopify or comparable e-commerce platforms
• Experience with e-commerce analytics, conversion optimization, merchandising, and product launches
• Strong understanding of email/SMS, digital advertising, landing pages, and the broader e-commerce customer journey
• Comfortable working with integrations, apps, fulfillment systems, analytics platforms, and other e-commerce technology
• Demonstrated ability to use data to make business decisions
• Strong project-management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, deadlines, and launches simultaneously
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

AI & Technology Mindset

Candidates do not need to be AI engineers or developers. However, they should:

• Understand the practical capabilities of modern AI tools
• Already be using—or be highly motivated to use—AI in their daily workflow
• Understand how AI and automation can improve e-commerce operations
• Be comfortable learning new platforms and testing emerging technologies
• Think about how technology can allow a small team to operate faster and more efficiently

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience, with performance-based bonus opportunities.
